On June 17, 2023, Yu Aihua, member of the Standing Committee of Anhui Provincial Party Committee and secretary of Hefei Municipal Party Committee, held talks with Lv Xiangyang, chairman of Rongjie Group, at the Guangzhou headquarters of Rongjie Group. Both sides had in-depth exchanges on topics such as seizing opportunities and deepening cooperation.

Lv Xiangyang welcomed the visit of Secretary Yu Aihua and his delegation. He stated that in recent years, Rongjie Group has continuously expanded its business layout and scale in core industries such as new energy, display technology, and biological antibody medicine. In terms of new energy industry, Rongjie Group focuses on the Yangtze River Delta, Chengdu Chongqing Economic Circle, Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area and other national strategic regions. Among them, Hefei is an important strategic layout area for Rongjie Group.
Since 2007, with the strong support of Hefei Municipal Party Committee and the municipal government, Rongjie Group has invested and built several production bases in Hefei, including the R&D and manufacturing of lithium battery cathode material precursors, lithium battery cathode materials, and automotive power battery recycling and regeneration, with the investment in the new energy lithium battery industry chain as the core. In May last year, under the witness of Secretary Yu Aihua, a project for automotive power battery materials and energy storage battery materials with a total investment of 10 billion yuan was signed with Hefei. The overall output value can reach nearly 20 billion yuan after reaching full capacity.
Secretary Yu Aihua fully affirmed the leapfrog growth and high-quality development of Rongjie Group in recent years, and expressed strong support for Rongjie Group to increase its investment in Hefei. Yu Aihua said that at present Hefei is accelerating to build itself into a new energy vehicle city, and the new energy industry has a good ecology and a strong development momentum. During the "14th Five Year Plan" period, Hefei will focus on the whole vehicle, key parts, Battery recycling and other links to build a globally competitive industrial development system. We are willing to seek deeper exchanges and cooperation with Rongjie Group to deepen the win-win development of Hefei and enterprises.
Lv Xiangyang pointed out that Rongjie Group attaches great importance to cooperation with Hefei. The booming development trend in Hefei has injected stronger confidence into the strategic implementation of Rongjie Group's deep cultivation in the Yangtze River Delta.
